Mother’s Day Spit Roast Luncheon 1^st May 2022 ( Sunday)

On this day we Celebrate the greatness of Mother’s, all that they are and all that they become.

Even if you’re not a Mother yourself, we all have a Mother, hence the 1^st May is that day that we honour all Mothers from around the Nations living here in Portugal.

The Luncheon is hosted by Anthea & Gerard from the Algarve Social and Activities Club.  Between them they have 7 children, so they know a thing or two about what Mothers go through on a daily basis. They are opening up their doors to honour all Mothers and to say thanks!

Menu: Fully Catered Spit Roast inclusive of Drinks Menu.

Entrée: – Home-made Vegetable soup – with a selection of different garnishes, accompanied by home-made bread rolls

Mains: – A selection of home-cooked Spit Roast Meats, Roast Veggies & Gravies and a selection of Salads, etc

The Bar will be open for Cocktails and Spirits at Bar Prices.

* Each Mother attending will receive a Home Made Gift to Honour Her.

** Vegan and Vegetarian Options are available – (on Bookings only) All homemade by a Vegetarian.

*** Please advise on Booking if there are any Food allergies or Intolerance’s.

**** As a special Gift from the Social Club, we have arranged a wonderful Masseur to give each Mother a 5minute Foot massage to relive any strains from the Hike, and to revitalise her energy for the afternoon’s festivities.

Laura Ceia is a fully qualified Masseur and she will be giving a Foot Massage to all Mother’s attending the Luncheon between 12noon – 1.00pm (Prior to the Luncheon).

The Luncheon will be held in the Club Gardens in Vale Judeu. Seating is Limited so please book early. (Max seats: 40)

The Algarve Social and Activities Club is a not-for-profit Club for all locals and Expats to join. We are inclusive of all peoples from around the world, and love animals just as much. Most Activities are inclusive for Dogs and there is always a Water Bowl for them to drink from. Children are most welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by an Adult. Our Main Language is English, but we speak: English, Portuguese, Dutch and German too…. With a little Ozzie from time to time.
